Does Plakadan cost anything?

No, Plakadan is free.

Do I need an account to send a message?

No. Open the app, scan the plate and send. To receive messages about your own car, just add your car.

What if the owner doesn’t use Plakadan?

Your message is kept for 7 days. If the owner verifies their car within that time it’s delivered to them; otherwise it’s deleted. The app shows you the status honestly.

Can the other side see who I am?

No. Neither the sender nor the owner sees the other’s identity, phone number or e-mail.

Can I chat with the owner?

No, Plakadan is not a chat app. The owner can only reply with quick reactions (“Thanks”, “Got it”).

How do I verify my car?

Currently with a photo of the side of your registration document (ruhsat) that shows the plate. It is used for verification only.
